About the role:
The Client Support Advisor roles form part of the Technology Services team and provides the Technology Solutions infrastructure and support across the organisation.
As the Client Support Advisor, you will be responsible for maintaining the deliverability of the Technology Solutions Service Charter across BHI to deliver an excellent level of client service to internal and external stakeholders. Your role will consist of responding to queries from students and employees at all levels across BHI relating to Technology Solutions support and provide high quality advice and support.
You will have the opportunity to contribute to the effective provision of a range of Service Desk Support systems integration projects and services to provide a positive experience in a productive work environment. You will champion continuous improvement, progressive change culture and quality service delivery across all Technology Solutions services within the organisation and identify gaps in current service delivery systems and documentation.

This position is a full time, ongoing opportunity working on a rotating roster 8am-6pm Monday to Friday. The salary for this role is in line with $56,592 per annum (exclusive of superannuation).
About You:
- Recently obtained degree or diploma in a field of Information Technology
- Certification in ITIL (preferred)
- Knowledge of Client Technologies (Microsoft, Apple) and a drive to resolve user issues with, as well as install and support, a range of technologies and products, including knowledge of and abilityto become a subject matter expert in:
- End user computing and device support (Microsoft and Apple and Android PC, Laptop, Mobile Devices)
- The nature of Classroom and Corporate Audio Visual systems
- Communications and Collaboration (IP Telephony, MS Exchange, Shared Folders, Printing)
- Network and client access
- Enterprise application Support
- Demonstrated experience in building client relationships and ability to provide excellent phone, face to face and email advice and support in the products and systems listed above to a diverse range of people
- Experience and willingness to develop and maintain technical documentation
- Ability to identify and understand the long term impact of particular courses of action and ability to develop an understanding of how various processes with Box Hill Institute integrate
- A proactive self-starter! Takes initiative, acts while taking responsibility for own actions and seizes opportunities
